What is a staff augmentation (régie) mission and how does it work?
Staff augmentation (régie) means integrating an external consultant directly into your teams: they work under your operational direction, with your tools and your methods, while EBMC Group holds the contract and takes care of compliance and mission follow-up. It is the ideal formula when you need to strengthen a team quickly on a strategic project without adding to your permanent headcount. In practice, we qualify your need during an initial interview, we pre-select two to three profiles from our talent pool, you conduct the interviews and the consultant gets started — the whole process follows our 5-step method, from the qualification of your need all the way to monthly mission reviews with a dedicated Account Manager.
How quickly can a consultant start?
Our responsiveness commitment is specific: a shortlist of two to three qualified profiles reaches you within 48 hours of your need being qualified, interviews with your teams take place within the week, and the mission can start as early as day eight. That speed rests on an active pool of more than 120 consultants, available immediately or within two to four weeks depending on the profile. Every candidate we present has already been through our internal technical interviews, and their certifications as well as their references have been verified: you never receive a raw CV, but profiles that are genuinely available, properly evaluated, and matched to your technical stack as much as to your business context.
Which SAP profiles do you provide?

Do you work fully remote, hybrid or on-site?
All three working modes are possible, and the choice is made together with you at the needs-qualification stage: fully remote, hybrid with two to three days per week on site, or full-time presence in your offices. Our consultants are based in Luxembourg, France, Belgium and Spain, which allows genuine geographic proximity for on-site missions across the Greater Region, while our Barcelona innovation hub is more than happy to deliver remotely. The chosen working mode is written into the contract and can evolve during the course of the mission if your constraints change — this flexibility is fully part of our quality commitments.
What happens if the consultant is not the right fit?
That is a risk we take on contractually: if a mismatch is identified during the trial period, we guarantee the replacement of the consultant within two weeks. To detect any misalignment early, every mission follows a structured cadence: a review at day 7, another at day 30, then monthly reviews bringing together your team, the consultant and the dedicated Account Manager assigned to you. This framework lets us adjust the scope, support the consultant or, if necessary, trigger the replacement without your project losing momentum. Our staffing contract also includes a clear exit clause from the moment of signature.
How long does a staffing mission last?
The duration adapts to your need: three months for a one-off reinforcement, six months to a year to support a transformation project, and up to two years for long-running programmes such as an S/4HANA migration. The staffing contract is deliberately flexible: adjustable duration, straightforward renewal and an exit clause included from the moment of signature. This flexibility lets you size the team to the real rhythm of the project — ramping up during critical phases, scaling down afterwards — without any long-term hiring commitment or heavy administrative procedure.
