Our approach
An engagement starts with a sound understanding of the project and continues in day-to-day work. We prepare the assignment with you and follow its progress with the consultant.
01
We discuss the business need, the technical environment and the difficulties to be resolved. This discussion clarifies the expected work and how it relates to other initiatives.
Your schedule and operating constraints are taken into account from this stage.
02
We agree on the scope of the assignment, the skills required and the responsibilities. Attendance arrangements, contacts and start conditions are specified.
When the project calls for several areas of expertise, we identify the contribution expected from each and the points of coordination.
03
We organise the consultant’s arrival with your teams. Available documentation, access, equipment and initial tasks help prepare their onboarding.
The aim is for them to know what they are responsible for, who to work with and how to report on their progress.
04
Follow-up meetings cover onboarding, the work done and the difficulties encountered. Decisions that belong to the client remain within its organisation.
When an adjustment is needed, we clarify with you the scope and the conditions for continuing the assignment. An EBMC contact remains identified throughout the collaboration.
05
An extension, a change of scope or the end of an assignment needs to be prepared. We address documentation, knowledge transfer and handover.
Your team must have the information it needs to continue the work.
We favour a quick discussion between the people involved. It helps distinguish a scope issue, an organisational constraint or a difficulty in execution, and then agree on the actions to take.
